1 歳 11 ヶ月: わがままな子になっちゃった?

At 23 months, babies grow and develop rapidly, transforming from a chubby infant to a slender, child-like figure. During this stage, they become eager to do things independently, entering the 'terrible twos' phase and developing food preferences. It's time to consider a toddler bed. Enjoy these precious months before your child turns two, as time flies!

• Climbing stairs: At this age, children can climb stairs. For safety, install baby gates at the top and bottom. Keep gates until around 3 years old. Always supervise children near stairs
• Improved hand and finger movements: Children can now draw, tip over containers, and stack four or more blocks
• Hand preference: Children may show a preference for using their left or right hand, but it's not yet clear which is dominant. Both hands should be encouraged
• Speaking simple sentences: Children can now speak simple sentences and correctly name people, body parts, and objects. Remember, language development varies
• Losing baby fat: Children develop muscles, grow taller, and their faces become more defined as they enter toddlerhood
