#406 Feathers

Now, machine quilting is easy. Beginning and experienced quilters can get perfect results every time using these tear away patterns. Each continuous border design attaches to your quilt layers with adhesive strips on the back and adjusts easily to fit the length and width of your borders. Corners patterns are included in the core with this design.

• - Finished stitching width is 5.25″
• - Recommended for 5.5″-8″ finished borders

• -darning foot or free motion foot required NOTE- For this design, you must sew back over previous stitching making paper removal a bit more difficult. Take a look at pattern #407 for a more open feather that avoids the paper removal issue.
• - 26' of pattern/roll To calculate how many rolls you will need of Borders Made Easy pattern, add length plus width in inches of your quilt top, multiply by 2, then divide by 12 to get how many feet you will need. Thread baste quilt layers then position the pattern on your quilt using the adhesive strips on the back, stitch through the paper following the design lines then tear the paper away.
