Brachiosaurus, or 'arm lizard', is named for its unusually long front legs, which gave it a distinctive, giraffe-like stance. This warm-blooded creature roamed during the late Jurassic Period, around 154 to 150 million years ago. Renowned as the tallest dinosaur, it could reach heights of up to 50 feet, with weights ranging from 32 to 64 tons. Its immense size limited its top speed to a mere 10 miles per hour.
