Authentic West Germany Black Forest Regula Cuckoo Clock and Hand Carved Wood Resin Plate. The plate features the village of Kastellaun and is where the plate and clock were originally purchased. Kastellaun is about a 2hr drive North of the black forest region. This is where my family lived in the early 1980s. I remember my mother buying the plate and clock from our German neighbors Helen and Heinz.
Fast forward 40 years and the clock is still in beautiful condition though it's missing one of the pinecone weights, the top center piece, pendulum, and the minute hand is broken. Otherwise you have a fantastic authentic wooden handmade black forest cuckoo clock with brass Regula inner workings.
The hand carved wood resin plate does have a noticable chip on the edge. But
