This wheel is designed to cut diagonal sipes in off-highway vehicle tires. Siping is defined as cutting thin slits across a rubber surface to improve traction, this process is absolutely critical to getting the most out of your performance tires. With our cutting wheel, you can dramatically speed up this process saving you both time and money. Our wheel is 1.5in wide(with end caps) and designed to adapt to your tire machine with a 5/16in thru hole. This wheel has a cut depth of 1/8in and sipe spacing of 1/4in. The siping wheel is designed to be disposable, blades are not replaceable. End caps(same as horizontal end caps) are required, sold separately.
