To use, first install the battery and press the central switch. A green LED indicates the tester is operational. Press the switch again to turn the LED on or off. A two-second press sounds 'DD' and turns off the tester. It automatically shuts off after five minutes without detecting an electric field signal. When voltage is detected, the tester's tip sounds and the LED turns red, with the sound frequency increasing as the electric field strengthens. The tester detects radiation intensity, changing the LED from green to red and sounding when radiation is present. For breakpoint detection, the tester emits different frequency sounds based on the radiation intensity difference between the two sides of the breakpoint, helping users locate the breakpoint on a wireline.
