The EazyPod Automatic filtration systems are self-cleaning filters that boast mechanical and biological filtration with automatic, no-effort cleaning. Water from the pond enters the EazyPod via the inlet, flows around the 18 Watt UV Clarifier, then flows around the circumference of the outer chamber, passing through the stainless steel grill causing many larger solids to be filtered out and settle in the base of the outer chamber. As water enters the central chamber, finer solids become trapped in the mass of biological media. The now-clean water rises and overflows into the inner return pipe and flows back into the pond via the outlet. The EazyPod Automatic includes an integrated control box with an adjustable timer that you use to plan the cleaning time so it can clean while you're not even there! The electronic controller powers the automated waste valve and the included air pump that cleans the filter media.
