Hobby Master's HA4562 is a 1:72 scale F-15EX Strike Eagle, serial 20-0001, from the 40th Flight Test Squadron at Eglin AFB in 2021. Leveraging existing production lines, the F-15EX was swiftly produced, following the F-15SA and F-15QA models. Saudi Arabia received 84 F-15SAs, while Qatar ordered 36 F-15QAs, with an option for 36 more. The first Qatari aircraft, dubbed 'Ababil', was delivered in August 2021. The F-15 Eagle II boasts unmatched speed, range, and payload. 'EX-1', the first F-15EX, took its maiden flight on February 2, 2021, and was delivered a month later. An official ceremony at Eglin AFB on April 20, 2021, marked its naming. This advanced F-15 variant, 48 years after the first F-15A, is set to be procured by the USAF in numbers, with 76 planned over five years and a final total of 144. The F-15EX is combat-ready upon leaving the production line.
