The single piece back is constructed from a striking, medium flamed piece of fine grained maple, with a transparent golden red varnish over the top giving a glowing orange colour. Lightweight and robust, this is a high quality, beautifully crafted violin in excellent condition. Comes with an old case. Sold as seen.
