This lunar globe was created using detailed lunar surface data gathered by Japan's 'Kaguya' spacecraft. It features color-coding based on elevation. It marks three optimal locations for lunar bases, discovered by the Kaguya probe: the Sea of Tranquility, Marius Hills, and the far side's Sea of Wisdom. It also indicates the moon's highest and lowest points, the Kaguya controlled descent point, and Apollo's landing sites. The lunar libration zone is also marked, with place names in both Japanese and English.
