- FITS 3/8", 1/2" & 5/8" PEX ON 1-INCH AND 2-INCH FOAMBOARD: Malco's exclusive dual-barbed plastic foamboard staples accommodate all three common PEX sizes and work with both 1-inch foamboard (use FBSN1 staples, 1-1/2") and 2-inch foamboard (use FBSN2 staples, 2-1/2"). Compatible with most other foamboard stapling systems. Not for use on EPS-type foamboard.
- PATENT-PENDING NON-JAMMING LEAF SPRING FEED SYSTEM: A leaf spring-controlled stop automatically adjusts to seat each staple and guide it through the fastening mechanism without jamming or deforming. Magazine loading strips of 25 staples are joined by discreet micro-welds that separate cleanly as each staple engages and delivers a smooth, uninterrupted feed from first staple to last.

Add the PWSK1 conversion kit to use PWS2 staples for securing PEX directly to a wooden subfloor. One tool, two installation methods. Pairs with Malco dual-barbed staples (FBSN1, FBSN2, FBS1BX, FBS2BX) for maximum holding power and pull-out resistance.
