A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a combination of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side is marked with a red ring. The Gut side should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without extra force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can only screw in by hand up to two turns. If it goes further, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards. The reference temperature for the workpieces and gauges is 20°C. VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate upon request. The calibration is done in an independent lab following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner.
