The ComBricks PROFINET Module facilitates the creation of PROFINET/PROFINET gateways or remote PROFINET I/O blocks, and can serve as a combination of both. In gateway mode, multiple modules enable data exchange between two or more PLC masters, with the capability to add up to ten modules. For remote I/O systems, it's combined with relay or digital output modules, functioning as slave devices programmed into the PLC. Using tools like Step7, the module's GSD file and respective I/O modules are configured, allowing the PLC to map I/O to its applications. This module is perfect for integrating small machines into your setup.
