This cutting board is made from Granadillo also known as Amazon rosewood, a rare, very hard wood from Central America. There is an epoxy river flowing between the live edge boards. It measures roughly 18 inches by 11.5 inches. All boards vary in dimensions but are close to that. Each board comes with anti slip feet on the bottom as well as a frosted cutting mat for the top of the board. We recommend using the mat because the epoxy isn't as hard as the wood and will scratch easier. The board is coated with an all natural oil than covered with an all natural wax as well.
