The Shimano SLX Reel is a compact, rigid, and versatile lowprofile baitcaster that will make an excellent addition to your collection and will not break the bank. Weighing a mere 6.9 ounces, this small reel is 22% more compact than the Caenan baitcaster and it's small size by no means hinders it's strength, and with a PowerPro line capacity of 150 this compact reel is nothing to scoff at. The 48mm Throw Handle provides lots of cranking power and a quick retrieve when using bigger lures and catching larger fish. A 6 Pin VBS breaking systen is housed under an easy access side plate and the adjustments allow you to set the reel and cast control to fit whatever lure you are using under any weather conditions. Available in various retrieve options for both the right hand and left hand models: Regular Gear at 6.3:1, High Gear at 7.2:1, and Extra High Gear at 8.2:1
