This set is for use in histological or cytological staining with capabilities for simultaneous use of up to 12 solution wells, each deep enough to permit total immersion of 1" x 3" slides. The stamped metal frame is solvent-resistant, with snap-locking cover that permits complete portability even when wells are full. The lid also serves as a drainboard during technique. Dishes are placed in a rack far enough from each other to preclude drippage of stain into other wells. System includes 10 white polypropylene dishes and two green solvent-resistant dishes. A tight-fitting lid for each solution dish helps eliminate evaporation. Complete with 12 dishes with lid and 12-unit metal carrier.
