Touch Down Chlorine Tab Dispenser (Navy Blue)

Touch Down, the Sunken Treasure 2.0, is a chlorine tab dispenser that sinks to the bottom of the pool when up to three (3") chlorine tablets are inserted. The tablets inside sanitize from the bottom-up, instead of from the top as with a floater. The Touch Down floats to the top when empty, conveniently letting you know it's ready for a refill. With traditional floating chlorine dispensers, much of the chlorine is wasted since it is sitting on the top of the water with much of the chlorine being released as harmful toxic fumes into the air. With the Touch Down, however, ALL of the chlorine is utilized in the pool water since it is fully submerged, releasing sanitizing chlorine from the bottom up.This product is essential for asthmatic swimmers, especially children. It also eliminates the need to cram as many chlorine tabs as possible into a floating dispenser. For the Touch Down, only 1 chlorine tablet is needed in a play pool or 2 tablets for a unit in the deep end of a diving pool. In addition, the chlorine dissolves slower and is distributed to your entire pool instead of just the top of the water. The Touch Down improves on the original Sunken Treasure in two areas: 1) it moves around the bottom of the pool, not sitting in the same spot, more effectively distributing chlorine and 2) reduces premature floating due to trapped CO2 bubbles. The football shape is for more than just looks! We recommend 1 TD for pools up to 12K gallons and 2 or 3 TDs for pools over 15,000 gal (dep on size).
