Vanity Tray

This charming vintage piece is perfect for your bathroom vanity or wherever you put your highly prized and appreciated useful beauty items. There is a wonderful lace and embroidery piece sandwiched between two pieces of glass which makes up the bottom of the tray. It sits on 4 feet which gives it an approximate height of less than 3/4 of an inch. It is 12 inches long and approximately 7 3/4 inches wide. The 12 inch length does not include the two extremely pretty handles making the length all In of about 14 inches. The metal is considered Gilded Ormolu as per the gold detail. This piece set for many years on my grandmothers dressing table and I have owned it for many more years since then although I cannot tell you the exact age of this lovely tray. I refer to this piece as a once upon a time tray as in years gone by this piece would likely only have been found in high end homes. It is a vision of days gone by, a slower pace and romance.
